Geneva Health's supporting Girls' Night In: Stay In. Help Out!
Geneva Health is proud to support the NZ Breast Cancer
Foundation (NZBCF) in their latest campaign, Girls' Night
InTM.
Earlier this year, Geneva Health
approached NZBCF with a new idea for a fundraising campaign.
The NZBCF embraced it, and Geneva Staff have donated their time to
help bring this exciting new campaign into fruition. We would
like to invite Clients, Candidates and associates to show support
this for great cause by organising their own Girls' Night In.
LAUNCH EVENT AT SKY CITY,
AUCKLAND
|
On Monday 28th June, girls
and guys dressed up in pink to celebrate the campaign's
launch. They enjoyed some bubbles and canapés followed by an
exclusive movie premiere screening of Love Happens starring
Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart at SKYCITY Theatre in
Auckland.
Denise L'Estrange-Corbett was MC for
the night and was given the task of judging the best dressed on the
night. The obvious winner was James Bennett, who was not
afraid to dress up in full costume including pink wig and
glasses. James came along with his wife Gillian, a breast
cancer survivor and made a heart-felt speech. The pair won an
extravagance prize from SKYCITY.
GENEVA HEALTH'S OWN GIRLS'
NIGHT IN
Geneva Health are organising a Girls'
Night In for their office staff at the end of July. Instead
of having a real girly night in, we are organising a silent
auction, where staff are invited to donate their unwanted but
useful household goods or clothing for other staff to bid on.
All proceeds will be given to the NZBCF.
WHAT'S GIRLS NIGHT IN?
Having a Girls' Night In is really easy - all you need to do is
invite your best friends round to your place, or get the girls at
work together and spend the evening doing whatever it is that you
love doing rather than spending money on a night out in town; it
could be getting together for a great gossip, movie night or even a
night of SingStar®.
The NZBCF aims to raise $100,000 from Girls' Night In to help
women with breast cancer get out and about after treatment. Money
raised from the event will go towards the national Community
Outreach programmes like Sweet Louise and Pink Pilates that are
funded by the NZBCF and support women living with breast
cancer.
